Coral Bean -
Flowers and Foliage
We planted the pictured coral bean plant (Erythrina herbacea, a Florida native) in the garden this past winter. We purchased it at the Mount Dora Plant and Garden Fair about a year and a half ago and cut it back once while it was still growing as a potted plant. The bright color of the flowers and the interesting shape of the leaves make the coral bean plant an attractive addition to the landscape.
