July 1998 - Various Flowers


Two clusters of flowers appeared in the upper branches of our cassia tree this summer. A flower in one of the clusters can be seen in the photograph at left. A single flower that was cut down for photography was the only flower to appear on the tree last year. See the July 1997 issue for additional photographs.

Flowers are continuing to be produced in the middle of July.




So far, these have been kept as potted plants in our garden. They flowered for only a brief period of time this summer.
